A Blatant Abuse of Power

It’s my site, so sometimes I get to do what I want and tell the other bloggers to just hold off. This is one of those times.
Many of you who know me personally know that my daughter Carson has a severe dairy allergy. No milk, no cheese, no whitebread with milk as an ingredient, none of it. We travel with an epi-pen in case of a reaction, and we only get pizza when it’s a date night and the kids are asleep.
Scientists estimate some 12 million Americans have a true food allergy. Many children do, and many outgrow it, but in the meantime, there lives are less carefree than they should be. It’s such an issue that some of the cooking shows now even have allergen free shows. In a couple of weeks, my wife is participating in the Walk for Food Allergy: Moving Toward A Cure event being held in Plano, Texas. This walk raises money and awareness for food allergy awareness and research.
If you can, please support this great cause and sponsor my wife’s walk by visiting her online sponsorship page. She would appreciate it, I would appreciate it, and my daughter would appreciate it.
Thanks for letting me steal your time, and for visiting civil3d.com. We’ll return to normal business tomorrow.
