A Lateral Network

Right now, I am in the process of leading a firm through a pilot project. This project involves going through several alternative pipe designs. Part of the pipe design includes making sure that house laterals (from houses that currently exist with septic systems) will be able to connect to the proposed sewers.

So…. we have to draw laterals…

Remembering Your Command Preferences

Every time you execute a Civil 3D command, for example “Create Alignment by Layout”, you get a dialog box where you make some choices. If you wanted the settings you choose to “stick” so that next time you make an alignment it remembers your preferences, you can change the Command Settings.
