Civil 3D 2008 Inquiry Commands: a small change that made me happy

In Civil 3D 2007 and below, the Inquiry Commands were hot and cold with Civil 3D objects.Â
They worked fine with regular linework- lines, polylines, arcs, etc. but as soon as you chose a parcel segment or an alignment you would get this lovely message:
Selected object was not a line or an arc.
In Civil 3D 2008, everything I have checked so far works on parcel segments, alignment segments and feature lines.
It’s the little things that make me smile.

a little off the topic, but do osnaps work with cd 2008 objects? It seems that most of the time they did not work well with 07 objects.
