Survey Commands Revealed!
Posted by Jason Hickey on February 1st, 2007
I'm really, really liking the new blog over on the Civil Engineering Comminity Site that was created by our friends from across the pond: Chris, Jack, and Ove. These guys are hard-core surveyors and I'm learning a ton from them. They also seem to be gifted in the art of reading minds, because every time I come up with a surveying related question, they have just written the answer. Go visit them at From the Ground Up. A few days ago, Chris wrote about Survey Fieldbook Commands, and even displayed a sample fieldbook file that showed some of the more common commands in use. He mentioned that there were 257 commands available for use, and I wondered what they were. I assumed that at least someone else would as well, so I opened the language.ref file to see what all was available. I was amazed - and you may be too, if you hit the "MORE" button.
